As a Professional Sales Representative at Behr, you will operate within a Home Depot store, serving as a sales expert focused on the distinct requirements of professional painting contractors.

Independently and in collaboration with the Pro Desk team, you will connect with local professionals who depend on Behr for superior products and outstanding customer service.

You will foster relationships with professionals in the store who may be seeking paint but are often looking for additional supplies.

When an external representative directs a contractor to you for paint, you will ensure a seamless experience by working together to provide the precise products they require, mixing the paint, gathering any necessary painting tools, and facilitating a swift checkout process so they can return to their projects.

You will ensure our professional clients enjoy a top-notch paint store experience.

Qualifications:
A friendly demeanor. You will support the Home Depot Pro Desk and introduce yourself to contractors. Understand their business and requirements, maintaining this relationship and following up on their projects and future needs.
Teamwork.

You will collaborate closely with Behr's external sales representatives and assist our customers upon their arrival in the store, including preparing and tinting orders for pickup.

You will also work in tandem with Home Depot staff.

We are one cohesive team, so as their vendor, you will act professionally and supportively, striving to uphold this mutually beneficial partnership.

Basic computer skills. You will log all new leads and contacts into Salesforce, our customer relationship management system. Training will be provided, but prior computer knowledge is advantageous.
Bilingual skills. While not mandatory, many of our professional contractors speak a second language. If you possess this skill, it is certainly a plus.
