Overview
Kemin Industries is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to participate in our 2025 Research and Development Internship program.

Our comprehensive internship program lasts 10-12 weeks, providing interns with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. During this time, interns will be assigned a project that will have a direct impact on Kemin's day-to-day operations.

As a research and development intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team members, including our executive team, to develop and implement innovative solutions. You will also receive mentorship and guidance to help prepare you for your long-term career in science.

In addition to your project, you will participate in department meetings, contribute ideas regularly, and liaise with other departments regarding work and initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to identify process improvements and create standard work, as well as participate in the Kemin Summer Internship Program events and trainings.

At the culmination of the program, you will prepare and give a final presentation to Kemin Industries leadership, showcasing your project and results. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience, build your professional network, and make a lasting impact on Kemin's operations.

Responsibilities
Spearhead a summer project that will leave a lasting impact
Assist with various tasks within your team
Participate in department meetings and contribute ideas regularly
Liaise with other departments regarding work and initiatives
Identify process improvements and create standard work
Partake in the Kemin Summer Internship Program events and trainings
Prepare and give a final presentation to Kemin Industries leadership

Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior with an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in a science
Ability to commit to 10-12 weeks of full-time employment during the months of May-August
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A high level of passion for your field of study
