About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Kalamazoo Long Term Pharmacy. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information, prescription refill lists, and MAPS reporting.
  • Triaging calls, managing messages, and scanning packing slips to ensure efficient and effective communication.
  • Assist with clerical tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve operational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
  • Computer proficiency, experience with electronic communication systems, and ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in office management or a related field.
  • Experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
