Job Summary

At Huck's Food and Fuel, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Department Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of the food service department, ensuring that it is profitable and maintains the highest level of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking charge of the food service department's daily operations, ensuring that it is open and ready for business during all scheduled hours.
  • Managing and scheduling associates to meet business demands, using a fixed schedule.
  • Providing prompt and courteous service to all customers.
  • Communicating effectively with store associates and management.
  • Maintaining accurate records and conducting inventories as directed by management.
  • Treating all associates with dignity and respect, and using proper personnel management techniques.
  • Ensuring a safe shopping and working environment, and following all safety rules and procedures.

Requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage and train associates.
  • Knowledge of food service operations and safety procedures.
