Job Description

Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at Quipt Home Medical, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient care and satisfaction. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with patients, referral sources, and other team members to coordinate patient care and services
  • Utilize software systems to communicate effectively and maintain accurate records of patient interactions
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of products and services offered by Quipt Home Medical
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform referral operations, including order intake, customer service, insurance verification, documentation verification, prior authorization, and scheduling
  • Ensure that referrals and patient requests are addressed or processed in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with teammates to resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to leadership when necessary
  • Contribute to the development of business practices and provide feedback to leadership to improve customer service
