We are seeking a skilled and patient Driving Instructor to join our team at Coastline Academy. As a Driving Instructor, you will play a crucial role in educating and advising students on the fundamentals of operating a car behind the wheel.
Key Responsibilities- Teach practical skills related to all aspects of driving, including safety and emergency procedures.
- Provide instruction on the rules of the road and help students develop confidence in their driving skills.
- Document and report on students' progress, maintaining timely communication with your supervisor and support team.
- Maintain professionalism with students and fellow team members, attending team meetings for updates and ongoing development.
- A genuine passion for helping people learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to remain calm in a learning environment and provide clear instruction and coaching.
- A valid State Driver's License in the state you wish to work in.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and reference check.
- Must have 10 years of legal driving experience.
- A strong safety mindset and strong reasoning ability.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in a vehicle.
- Must be able to see and hear during all weather conditions.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, touch, feel.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
