Job Summary:

Fareway Stores is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team. As a Bakery Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bakery department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Bakery Operations: Prepare and package bakery products, clean equipment and sanitize daily, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Inventory Management: Record and report accurate inventory counts, and assist with ordering and stocking bakery items.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old or older.
  • Availability: Must be able to work Saturdays and be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and basic math skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing and Walking: On feet up to 8+ hours per day.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
