Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator I - Packaging to join our team at Amcor Rigid Packaging. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing repetitive production and packing operations to mass process products such as plastic bottles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production equipment, including palletizers, case packers, and injection machines, to maintain product flow and meet customer specifications.
  • Monitor and control the flow of product into processing machinery, ensuring efficient and safe production.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to identify and address any defects or issues.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as HACCP, GMP, and product safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, safety protocols, and production schedules.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a team setting.
