We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Training and Development Specialist to join our team at DNA Comprehensive Therapy Services LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in the training and development of our staff, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions for staff members at all levels, including therapists, APRNs, PAs, Psychiatrists, and support staff.
- Develop and implement training programs on our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, documentation, billing, and coding, as well as regulation changes or updates.
- Monitor and track the success of training programs through evaluations and feedback from participants.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Identify knowledge gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
- Review and correct imputed billing codes for new and current providers.
- Track and report on medical coding corrections.
- Complete billing for new providers and any current providers in need of additional support.
- Communicate with providers regarding any deficiencies in their documentation or coding.
- Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to staff members to reinforce learning and ensure proper implementation of skills acquired during training.
- Develop and maintain training schedules and ensure all training requirements are met within established timelines.
- Ability to work on deadlines and balance multiple inquiries.
- High level of attention to detail, ability to notice minor issues or inconsistencies.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and dual process.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with patients and coworkers.
- Ability to interact positively with others in person and through written correspondence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Well-versed in HIPAA Guidelines to ensure the protection of patient information.
- Advanced knowledge of CPT codes and modifiers.
- Knowledge of insurance carrier billing and reimbursement, CPT, and modifiers.
- Certification in training and development preferred.
- Experience in the mental health care industry.
- Knowledge of mental health care practices and regulations.
- Ability to stand and sit for periods of time and to move constantly throughout the workday.
- Ability to push, pull, lift, move, and/or carry up to 15 lbs.
