Job Title: Front Desk Agent

We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming arrival experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process mobile arrivals and execute flawless service in the remote check-in area, adhering to property, company, and brand guidelines.
  • Actively engage guests in our hotel loyalty program, promoting enrollments and encouraging repeat business.
  • Collect and verify methods of payment, produce room keys, and maintain guest confidentiality throughout their stay.
  • Assign and escort guests to rooms, paying attention to their preferences and nonverbal cues to create a memorable experience.
  • Assist and resolve any guest billing inquiries and/or concerns, utilizing our Empower guest experience tool to reference and maintain guest requests and preferences.
  • Execute all required front office reports, pre-arrival planning, and checklists as outlined by leadership.
  • Serve as a concierge, providing local information on shopping, dining, and recreational destinations, and assisting with reservations and tours.
  • Assist with guest luggage and receive, store, and deliver both luggage and mail.
  • Respond to and resolve all guest inquiries and/or opportunities, utilizing appropriate empowerment guidelines.
  • Follow scheduled shifts and adhere to break and lunch requirements.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, complete safety training and certifications, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or higher
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred
  • Previous Opera PMS experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
