3C Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee the field construction of a project, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with owners, architects, and engineers to coordinate day-to-day construction activities.
  • Develop and implement project work schedules, expediting critical materials and equipment for timely delivery.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop field staff, including performance appraisals.
  • Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and manage site safety programs, ensuring subcontractor compliance with safety codes and regulations.
  • Manage work among trades, resolving local area problems and promoting project operations.
  • Manage labor relations with subcontractors and trade staff.
  • Implement mock-ups and associated testing, review, and approval.
  • Ensure necessary permits and insurance are in place and current.
  • Perform Stormwater Compliance Coordinator duties.
  • Manage General Conditions and General Requirements to maintain budget.
  • Manage billing process, including Work-In-Place and monthly estimates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least four years of related training and eight years of building construction experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of general and subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, construction means, methods, and materials.
  • Understanding of line and grade, survey methods, construction cost control, and basic accounting procedures.
  • Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Ability to implement leading-edge technologies like Building Information Models (BIM) and Lean.
  • Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include climbing stairs, using construction personnel hoists, and negotiating work areas under construction.

Work Environment:

This role requires working on-site at the construction work site, exposing the employee to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
