Job Overview

Contact Discovery Services LLC is seeking a skilled Senior Digital Forensic Analyst to join our team. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the development of forensic workflows and deliver top-notch service to clients.

About the Role

This position involves performing complex forensic data collections and analysis, consulting with legal teams and client IT departments, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of forensic tools and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Independently perform on-site and remote forensic data collections and analysis.
  • Consult with legal teams and client IT departments to establish project scope and forensic workflows.
  • Maintain and update knowledge of forensic tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with project management and other team members to complete complex projects efficiently.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of procedures to meet discovery process requirements.
  • Provide accurate project estimates and identify opportunities for upselling.
  • Assist in process improvement, innovation, and industry trend analysis.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and ensure their regular review and update.
Requirements
  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Digital Forensic Science or Computer Science/Engineering.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in digital forensics, including scoping activities, evidence acquisition, and forensic analysis.
  • Experience using industry-standard forensic tools such as Axiom, EnCase, Cellebrite, FTK Imager, and Digital Collector.
  • Familiarity with Mac/Windows filesystems, mobile devices, and encryption.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel regularly and maintain a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry-standard certification (EnCE, CCE, CCFE, GCFE, GCFA, CCO, CCPA, CCME, etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of litigation support applications (e.g., Relativity, Nuix, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
  • Experience working with structured data exported from various platforms.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000 based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses and the opportunity to participate in our employee profit-sharing program.
