Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Queen City Endodontics - South Charlotte. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering world-class specialty services.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure excellent patient service and provide administrative support to our dentists.
  • Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations and maintain a clean and organized dental environment.
  • Assist our dentists through 4-handed dentistry and provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
  • Schedule appointments and post-op visits, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Assist with payment procedures and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a dental assistant, with a preference for specialty experience.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks.
  • Good computer skills and excellent communication and people skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and well-organized approach.
  • A high school diploma and a certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law).
  • An active state radiology license (if required by law).
