We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at NC Pediatric Dentistry. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our young patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Dentists: Assist dentists during various treatment procedures, including routine cleanings, exams, and procedures.
- Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for our patients.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete treatment consents, review patient charts, and maintain accurate records.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies to provide the best possible care.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assistant program as per state guidelines.
- Certifications: Dental x-ray certification, coronal polishing certification, and nitrous oxide certification (desired but not required).
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong attention to detail.
