Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Initiate and complete all relevant documentation within organizational time frames, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and positive experience for our patients.
  • Follow instructions and complete job duties as assigned by providers and management staff.
  • Perform a variety of medical assessments, including blood pressure, height, and weight measurements.
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient interactions and medical information.
  • Assist with medication management, including taking medication orders from psychiatrists/APRNs/PAs and phoning in prescriptions to pharmacies.
  • Prepare medication refill requests and verify pharmacy information, last visit, last fill, insurance, pick-up, or mail.
  • Update patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide guidance and education to patients on prescribed medications and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One-year experience in healthcare, medical staff services preferred
  • Medical Assisting certification preferred
