  • Initiate and complete relevant documentation within organizational time frames, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for all clients, providing guidance and education as needed.
  • Perform genetic testing, educate patients, and submit test results for review by healthcare professionals.
  • Welcoming and preparing clients for examinations, taking medical histories, and providing timely documentation.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with direct client care, filing, chart documentation, faxes, prescription medical programs, and telephone follow-up as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One-year experience in healthcare, medical staff services preferred
  • Medical Assisting certification preferred
  • Proficient oral and written communications, excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Medical terminology knowledge essential
  • Effectively uses Electronic Health Records, knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 Coding procedures, and medication procedures
