Job Summary

Finishing Operators play a vital role in the assembly and testing stages of Snap-Tite Hose's world-class, lay-flat hose production. This position requires attention to detail, constant observation of testing processes, and the ability to follow stringent quality standards. As a Finishing Operator, you will learn how to properly assemble municipal and military hoses used worldwide to save lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the workflow between the coaters, insert table, steam table, coupling assembly, and test table.
  • Attach hoses to equipment using pressure clamps and accurately adjust steam/air controls once secure.
  • Properly identify the material and layers of different hoses throughout the processes.
  • Know how to safely handle and lift materials, jackets, and final products between each station of the Finishing Department.
  • Apply stenciling by following customer and company specifications.
  • Keep all areas, machines, and floors clear of water or debris.
  • Identify any defects, imperfections, or repairs that need further attention.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of measurements.
  • Ability to follow work instructions for the different stages within production.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards.
  • Able to effectively communicate with supervisors and team.
Work Environment

Employee may be exposed to wet and humid conditions and Dust/Fumes/Gas and Chemicals. Employee may need to work around extreme heat and moving machinery.

Education/Training Requirement

High School Diploma, or GED required.
