Float C-arm Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Float C-arm Technologist to join our team at Center For Diagnostic Imaging. As a Float C-arm Technologist, you will operate C-arm and X-ray equipment in assigned modality(s) to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and advanced procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision or repeats.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination.
  • Explain and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring they are positioned correctly for scanning.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Converse with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance.
