Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity

Children's Minnesota's Radiology department is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. About the Role

This is a Baylor schedule position, working every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am-11:30pm (0.6FTE), but paid as though working a 0.9FTE. Our team is focused on consistency and maintaining a work/life balance.

Responsibilities

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Children's Minnesota, you will:

  • Showcase your expertise of X-ray energy to assist in the diagnosis and/or treatment of our patients
  • Produce images for interpretation by partnering with our licensed practitioners to perform radiographic procedures
  • Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
  • Assess each unique patient situation to provide appropriate care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure
Qualifications

We require:

  • ARRT certification as a radiologic technologist
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1-2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
