Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Davita, Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care services to our patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
- Provide direct one-on-one patient care to ensure a safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment experience.
- Build long-term relationships with patients who receive treatment on average 3 times a week.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest dialysis treatment techniques and best practices.
Requirements
- CCHT certification required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
