About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support to patients with end-stage renal disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record patient statistics, including vital signs and laboratory results
  • Assist with hemodialysis machine setup and maintenance
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families
  • Provide education and support to patients on kidney dialysis-related topics
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
  • Willingness to train and work across multiple facilities within the territory as needed
