Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Analyst plays a crucial role in managing the financial transactions of the institution. The analyst is responsible for overseeing the payment processes related to contracts, leases, and purchase orders for professional services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established financial policies.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Invoice Auditing and Payment: Ensure timely auditing and payment of invoices associated with purchase orders and payment requests. This includes verifying account codes, supporting documentation, and compliance with expense policies.
  2. Outstanding Payment Resolution: Actively resolve payment discrepancies, vendor disputes, and issues related to payment releases, ensuring smooth financial operations.
  3. Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high standards of customer service by verifying receipt of goods and services, ensuring that installations meet user satisfaction.
  4. Travel Reimbursement Processing: Review and audit employee travel reimbursements, ensuring adherence to relevant policies and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  5. Record Management: Organize and maintain accurate records of invoices and payment transactions, continuously seeking to improve operational efficiency.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure seamless financial processes and communication.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of four years of relevant accounting or financial support experience. An associate's degree with two years of experience or a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Familiarity with financial systems such as PeopleSoft or SAP is advantageous, along with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
