Security Operations Coordinator

Location: Global Opportunities

Clearance: ACTIVE Top-Secret

The Security Operations Coordinator (SOC) role is essential for projects where a Security Site Manager (SSM) is unavailable to support the overseeing officer with managed initiatives. The SOC will collaborate with Department of State officials, manage security and additional requirements alongside key project stakeholders, and provide comprehensive reports to Security Operations in Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a meticulous daily log of various construction activities and submit a detailed report to the Regional Security Officer and Washington, D.C. Desk Officer for evaluation.
  • Coordinate security measures and other essential requirements with primary project officials.
  • Deliver reports back to Security Operations in Washington, D.C.
  • Personnel proficient in both Construction Security Training (CST) and Construction Activity Guidance (CAG) will be expected to engage and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with Embassy staff.

Qualifications:

  • ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • Current CST and/or CAG certification is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in security and/or construction roles.
  • Site Security Coordinators must possess at least 3 years of experience within the Construction Security Management (CSM) Program.
  • Must have and maintain a Top-Secret Government Security Clearance.
  • Must be in good physical condition and meet the medical standards for the role.
  • The SOC should be knowledgeable in both guard and construction surveillance functions, though certification in both is not necessary.
  • The SOC must demonstrate independent decision-making capabilities, possess a strong sense of initiative, and be able to operate with minimal oversight.
