About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director to lead the implementation of our legislation in states. As a key member of our Advocacy team, you will work closely with local stakeholders to ensure that our legislative successes achieve the greatest possible impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of legislation in states where a REFORM supported bill has passed.
- Assess and monitor the impact of legislation to determine strategies for improving implementation and achieving the desired outcomes.
- Establish relationships with relevant stakeholders in states to provide support and monitor the implementation of legislation.
- Provide direct support to public agencies impacted by legislation, including developing materials and offering training.
- Advocate for streamlined processes to accelerate the number of people benefiting from legislation.
- Represent REFORM in professional settings to promote the importance of implementation work and our commitment to sustained impact in states.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience working directly with justice stakeholders, preferably parole/probation departments and the courts, around launching/managing new programs and evidence-based practices.
- Bachelor's degree or higher, though other comparable experience in this field will be considered and accepted.
- Deep understanding of the justice system and evidence-based practices, especially parole and probation.
- Experience in developing and providing trainings and technical assistance to justice system stakeholders, a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate across multiple audiences.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ideally across different jurisdictions.
