Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Nurse to join our team at Cone Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support during cardiac catheterization procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' medical history and current condition to prepare them for cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Prepare specialized equipment and monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation of patients' responses and procedural details.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians and technicians, to support smooth and successful procedures.
  • Provide patient education and support before, during, and after cardiac cath lab procedures.
  • Adhere to professional advancement program requirements, engage in ongoing education, and mentor others to promote professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing, Hospital Administration, or another Allied Health Curriculum.
  • Completion of New Graduate program.
  • Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
  • RCIS certification to be obtained within 24 months of hire.
  • BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
