Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Cone Health. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Preparation: Assess patients' medical history and current condition to prepare them for cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Procedure Support: Prepare and monitor patients during procedures, maintaining a safe and optimal environment for successful outcomes.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed, maintaining accurate records of patients' responses and procedural details.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the healthcare team to support smooth and successful procedures, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Patient Education and Support: Provide patient education and support before, during, and after cardiac cath lab procedures, promoting patient understanding and empowerment.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and professional development, enhancing your skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing, Hospital Administration, or another Allied Health Curriculum.
  • License and Certification: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state, with RCIS certification to be obtained within 24 months of hire.
  • CPR Certification: BLS (CPR) certification from a recognized organization.
