We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Heluna Health. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and analyzing complex data sets to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Data Management: Manage and manipulate multiple data sources, including Access and SQL databases, to create a single dataset for analysis and evaluation activities.
- Data Quality Control: Validate data files against data validation tools to ensure compatibility and accuracy.
- Data Analysis: Conduct complex data analysis, including spatial analysis and data quality control on complex datasets, using appropriate methodological techniques and software (such as SAS and GIS) to support identification, impacts analysis, monitoring, and evaluation of targeted interventions and investments.
- Reporting and Presentation: Prepare publication-ready presentations, mapping, infographics, charts, and tables to support project/program reporting to Heluna Health.
- Collaboration and Communication: Assist various internal and external parties in data collection, interpretation, and application of data for decision making.
- Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science / Information Management or Statistics, OR public health or other relevant social science, combined with two (2) years of experience collecting, preparing, and analyzing data and two (2) years of project management experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Access, and Power BI, as well as experience with project life cycle, including documentation, working with advisory groups, acceptance testing, implementation support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and manage data collection efforts.
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
