Job Description:

Solventum is seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Stewardship Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our products.

The Impact You'll Make:
  • Provide leadership for product stewardship to ensure material continuity for critical and ongoing reformulation efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and qualify second sources of supply for key materials used in Solventum medical/combination devices, drug products, and/or water/industrial filtration units.
  • Facilitate product safety evaluations with subject matter experts, including partnering with toxicologists on biocompatibility data needs and test plans.
  • Develop, implement, and execute processes to proactively guide development teams toward the use of favorable alternatives.
Your Skills and Expertise:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field, such as environmental sciences, quality, or technical field.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in product stewardship, environmental sciences, quality, and/or technical field in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Additional qualifications include demonstrated leadership in process development, creative problem solving, project management, or lean six sigma experience, knowledge of the medical device industry and/or medical device quality management systems, global regulatory compliance experience, and experience with product life cycle assessments, product risk assessments, and/or making risk-based decisions.
Work Environment:

Solventum is a remote-friendly company, and this role will be based in the United States. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time. Relocation assistance may be authorized.
