Position: Housekeeping Associate

Position Highlights:
- Compensation: $18.85 per hour (+$1 shift differential for overnight shifts)
- Work Schedule: Evening shifts from 4 PM to 12:30 AM
- Employment Type: Temporary, approximately 3 months

Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and prepare guest accommodations, including rooms, dormitories, and restrooms to meet our quality standards.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping common areas.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, sorting, folding, and restocking linens.
- Change and launder bed linens, blankets, and towels as required.
- Wash and organize kitchenware and utensils.
- Sanitize sinks, toilets, and showers; replenish soap and toilet paper supplies.
- Clean windows and window treatments as necessary.
- Dust surfaces, furniture, and fixtures in guest areas and hallways.
- Empty trash and recycling bins on a daily basis.
- Report maintenance issues to management promptly.
- Assist in managing housekeeping supply inventory.
- Perform light maintenance and groundskeeping tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Minimum six months of experience in hostel or hotel housekeeping.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Customer service experience is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, use hands, and arms.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to climb or maintain balance.
- Must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close, peripheral, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Noise levels in the work environment are typically moderate.
