We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our elite team of engineers, technicians, sales, and support staff.

Job Purpose

The Program Manager is responsible for managing complex projects and contracts involving cross-functioning teams. This individual will coordinate and monitor the schedule, pricing and technical performance of the company's current and new programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management
    • Facilitate contract negotiations and manage contractual changes and coordinate the preparation of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial terms and conditions of contracts.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and establish new business opportunities to expand the product line and enhance profitability.
  • Program Coordination
    • Accountable for ensuring compliance with master plans and schedules, developing innovative solutions to program challenges, and directing the work of team members assigned to the program from various departments.
  • Communication
    • Conduct weekly status update meeting with clients to ensure effective communication of projects.
    • Provide regular updates on program status to the supervisor to ensure transparency and alignment on project.
  • Problem-Solving
    • Monitor, update and track open ongoing program challenges to ensure resolution and progress.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Oversee and Facilitate design review meeting to ensure quality in program projects.
  • Logistics
    • Coordinate the shipment of prototype units to ensure delivery and quality control.
  • Testing and Validation
    • Supervise the testing required for product qualification to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Financial Management
    • Collaborates with sales team to facilitate invoicing processes for costumers during the development phase.
  • Project Management
    • Ensure timely and cost-effective project completion by closely monitoring schedules and budgets.
  • Team Leadership
    • Serve as an advisor to the program team, providing guidance on project tasks and operations to drive successful incomes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Engineer or related field.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • 10+ years in a manufacturing business environment, defense manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong teamwork with various organizations both internal and external.
  • Effective communication skills with cross functional teams.
  • Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, written and verbal.
  • Ability to accurately and thoroughly document processes, procedures, and training documents.
  • General knowledge of control systems, electrical testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Awareness of project need and capability to work in a project environment with deadlines.

Working Conditions

The candidate must be able to:

  • Interact with various stakeholders, including clients, team members, and suppliers.
  • Work in an office environment, engage visits onto production floor, and be comfortable with encountering electrical and mechanical components.
  • Occasionally travel may be required.
  • Operate office equipment, sit, stand, bend, reach and lift on occasion a maximum of 30 lbs.
