Key Responsibilities

About Us

The Riverview Psychiatric Center, in collaboration with the community, is a center for best practice, treatment, education, and research for individuals with serious, persistent mental illness, and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. We are operated by the State of Maine's Department of Health and Human Services and selected clinicians work through a collaborative long-term agreement with Liberty Healthcare.

Requirements
  • Residency training and/or Board Certification in Psychiatry
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Maine (or willing to apply for a Maine medical license)
  • Compassion and commitment to providing high-quality psychiatric care to people living with serious mental illness
