Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Part-Time Teller to join our team at Apple River State Bank. As a key member of our bank, you will provide exceptional customer service and handle various financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

About the Job

This part-time position is approximately 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, including occasional Saturdays. You will work closely with our customers, answering questions, and resolving issues related to their accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve account-related issues, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Handling Transactions: Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining Security Protocols: Identify counterfeit currency, verify endorsements, and ensure proper identification for cash back.
  • Cross-Selling Products: Promote bank products and services to customers, helping them achieve their financial goals.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will be expected to:

  • Balance Drawer Daily: Ensure accurate balancing of the teller drawer to prevent discrepancies.
  • Process Mail: Handle incoming mail, including loan payments, deposit checks, and other documents.
  • Assist with Night Depository Duties: Assist in opening and closing procedures, logging bags, processing deposits, making change orders, issuing receipts, and returning bags to customers.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $32,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate includes an hourly wage based on a 20-hour workweek and benefits that align with industry standards.
