Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Patient First. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality x-rays and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain quality x-rays using correct positioning and radiation exposure
  • Implement safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients, staff, and self
  • Create and document x-ray CD copies according to Patient First guidelines
  • Understand and operate x-ray and processing equipment
  • Filing and maintaining x-ray paperwork
  • Ensure patient safety when using wheelchairs, stools, and other equipment
  • Understand and use automated medical records system
  • Clean work area and maintain equipment according to OSHA guidelines
  • Receive, move, and restock supplies
  • Adhere to Patient First policies and procedures
  • Address physician and nurse requests in a timely manner
  • Complete tasks listed on checklists for x-ray and treatment areas
  • Attend training classes and staff meetings
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Keyboarding experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • One year of clerical experience preferred
  • One year of clinical experience preferred
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensed to practice as Radiologic Technologist by the Maryland Board of Physicians
