Oral Surgery Dental Assistant Job Opportunity

A well-established dental group practice, The Smilist, is seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join its growing team. As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive compensation and benefits package, flexibility, and many opportunities for growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to our oral surgery team.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment, preparing patients for treatment and assisting doctors to provide efficient quality dental treatment.
  • Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory.
  • Escort patients to and from the front desk and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of prior dental assisting experience.
  • Working knowledge of Dentrix a plus.
  • Prior oral surgery assisting experience required.
  • X-ray license required.
  • Positive and outgoing personality.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills.
  • Previous work experience in a dental practice.
  • Spanish speaking a plus.
