Job Summary:

The Smilist is seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join its growing team. As a key member of our dental practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our oral surgery department.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist oral surgeons in preparing patients for treatment, maintaining a clean and sterile environment, and ensuring the efficient delivery of quality dental care.
  • Prepare tray setups for dental procedures, maintain adequate supply levels, and order and replenish as needed.
  • Escort patients to and from the front desk, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and staff.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of prior dental assisting experience, with a focus on oral surgery.
  • Working knowledge of Dentrix software.
  • X-ray license required.
  • Positive and outgoing personality, with exceptional verbal communication skills.
  • Previous work experience in a dental practice, with a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
