OSP Field Engineer

We are seeking a skilled OSP Field Engineer to join our team in the Houston Suburbs.
About the JobThis is a field-based role that requires candidates to design outside plant work orders, provide administrative and field support to the outside plant provisioning process, and conduct site surveys.
Key Responsibilities- Design outside plant work orders and provide administrative support to the outside plant provisioning process.
- Conduct site surveys and IFP long haul fielding.
- Possess knowledge of municipal and governmental requirements for all work.
- Prepare work orders drawings and documentation.
- Provide work order estimates and expenditures.
- Obtain permits.
- Support the outside plant provisioning process.
To be successful in this role, you must have 2-5 years of experience in field engineering for outside plant, with knowledge of telephone industry standards. You should also be able to read and interpret mechanized assignment records, PC applications, and OSP records.
Benefits- A competitive estimated salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
