As a Cable Installation and Inspection Professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our fiber construction projects. With excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills, you will oversee the installation of underground cables, aerial lines, and handholes, guaranteeing that all work adheres to project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in OSP construction inspection or a similar role. A thorough understanding of OSP construction methods, including aerial and underground cable installation, splicing techniques, grounding practices, and restoration procedures, is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily audits and inspections to verify compliance with Lyte Fiber's policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
  • Identify issues in the field, analyze potential solutions, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed inspection reports, including photographs, measurements, and notes documenting the progress of work and any identified issues.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or associate degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively with residents, community organizations, and contractors.

Salary Information
We offer an estimated salary of $75,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience, with additional benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
