Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Fluence Analytics. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our customers in the installation, startup, and commissioning of our process instrumentation and analyzer systems.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3+ years of experience in field engineering or application engineering roles, with a strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical, chemical engineering, chemistry, or closely related technical disciplines. You will have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment on multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support and services to customers in the installation, startup, and commissioning of our process instrumentation and analyzer systems.
  • Working closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to plan and execute builds, installations, and startups.
  • Collaborating with customers and/or their engineering contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Documenting all aspects of work and maintaining accurate records.
  • Providing training and design solutions to problems encountered in the field.

Requirements:

  • 1-3+ years' work experience in field engineering or application engineering roles.
  • A.S. or B.S. in mechanical engineering, electrical, chemical engineering, chemistry, or closely related technical discipline.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous experience working in process industries or similar industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
