Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Customer Care Associate to join our team at The McAlear Group. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Processing
    • Promptly and accurately receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and materials
    • Examine shipments for damage, accuracy, and report discrepancies
  • Inventory Management
    • Record quantity of all incoming materials or items received or distributed via computer software
    • Accurately place materials in designated storage areas in an orderly manner
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance
    • Safely operate all necessary types of equipment to conduct warehouse operations
    • Perform routine equipment maintenance and adhere to all safety requirements
  • Order Fulfillment
    • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
    • Complete file requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items
  • Warehouse Maintenance
    • Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
    • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders in the appropriate area
  • Quality Control
    • Weigh and count items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards and order accuracy
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Complete requisition forms for order supplies from other departments
    • Prepare parcels for mailing and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Basic math, counting, and reasoning skills
    • Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and safety rules
    • Sufficient visual acuity to read instructions and operate machines
    • Patience with problems and issues
    • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, inter-department personnel, and other warehouse employees
  • Physical Demands
    • Physical ability to do work requiring frequent lifting, twisting, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, walking, and standing for 8+ hours per day
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
