Our advanced facilities are dedicated to the episodic treatment of acute medical conditions and injuries, as well as offering services in workers' compensation and occupational health. Each center is equipped with an onsite laboratory and in-house x-ray capabilities.
AFC serves as the parent organization of AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF), and this role will be situated within that division, collaborating directly with franchise owners of American Family Care centers.

Position Summary
American Family Care is in search of a proactive and articulate communicator for the role of Franchise Marketing Specialist at our headquarters in Birmingham, AL. The Franchise Marketing Specialist (FMS) will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing and will be tasked with partnering with franchise owners to impart best practices and to devise and execute marketing strategies aimed at enhancing their operational performance. The FMS will utilize our expanding toolkit of digital and in-center marketing initiatives. A strong aptitude for analyzing metrics and extracting key insights, along with the capability to effectively guide both new and existing franchisees in taking appropriate action steps, will be essential. This position will serve as a vital contributor and resource for our rapidly expanding franchisee network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist franchisees during the onboarding process of new centers, including adherence to a comprehensive task checklist that encompasses all facets of marketing a new healthcare facility.
  • Support franchisees in formulating strategic marketing plans and aid in translating those plans into actionable activities.
  • Conduct regular consultation calls regarding marketing management, customer service, patient experience, measuring and tracking return on investment (ROI), training, grand opening initiatives, marketing and advertising strategies, and other relevant topics.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with franchisees and vendors.
  • Ensure brand integrity and consistency across the designated franchise territory and associated digital platforms.
  • Oversee the implementation of all company marketing policies, procedures, programs, and new concepts within the assigned franchise territory.
  • Manage the .com presence, ensuring alignment with local listings and social media platforms.
  • Gather local intelligence to ensure programs and campaigns are effective, including researching new local marketing opportunities.
  • Provide guidance on the development of marketing plans and grand opening strategies.
  • Create B2C and B2B activation guides.
  • Collaborate closely with operational and franchise partners.
  • Be knowledgeable about the Franchisor's Operations Manual, Brand Standards Guide, Franchise Disclosure Document, Franchise Agreement, and other relevant documents.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
  • In-office work required.
  • Dynamic marketing strategist with outstanding collaboration and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and implement effective strategies and tactics to achieve results.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time-management capabilities.
  • Proficient across various traditional and digital marketing channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with client-service relationship-building abilities.
  • Well-organized with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of validated experience in marketing, sales, or business development.
  • Experience with multi-unit operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, and marketing technology stacks like Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; proficiency in Adobe Suite is a plus.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
