Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Helpdesk Specialist to join our team at Electronic Systems Inc. as a Technical Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure, providing technical support and assistance to end-users, and collaborating with the existing Network Administrator to ensure seamless network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft M365 environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Manage and troubleshoot issues related to Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and permissions.
  • Implement and maintain Identity and Access Management (IDA) solutions to enhance network security and user authentication.
  • Collaborate with the existing Network Administrator to ensure seamless network operations.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing network-related concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and improvements.
  • Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in network administration, preferably in an educational or similar environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft M365, Active Directory, and Identity and Access Management (IDA).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to network infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and end-users.
  • Ability to work on-site daily at the Electronic Systems Inc. location.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the organization.
