About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in AI engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in leading AI projects and teams. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) are essential. Additionally, the successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing and deploying machine learning and deep learning models.

Key Responsibilities
  • AI Strategy: Develop and execute AI strategies that align with company goals and drive innovation in space technology.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of AI engineers and data scientists, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI models and algorithms, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • Integration: Oversee the integration of AI solutions into existing systems and products, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define requirements, gather data, and deliver AI-driven solutions.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay current with AI research and industry trends, incorporating new techniques and technologies into projects to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of AI models, addressing any issues related to accuracy, scalability, or efficiency.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for AI models, algorithms, and processes, and provide regular updates on project progress and outcomes.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000-$170,000, depending on experience. Requirements
  • Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI or machine learning roles, with a strong track record of leading AI projects and teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Model Development: Extensive experience in developing and deploying machine learning and deep learning models.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, with strong project management skills.
