Job Summary
As a Public Safety Lead at University Health System, you will oversee the work assignments of Security Ambassadors and Sr. Security Ambassadors, providing support to facilities and posts. You will also mentor Public Safety Lead, Visitor Management Ambassador, and Public Safety Ambassador personnel, ensuring they meet University Health's Commitment to Service Excellence standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage Security Ambassadors/Sr. Security Ambassadors
- Provide direct mentoring to Public Safety Lead, Visitor Management Ambassador, and Public Safety Ambassador personnel
- Respond to requests for assistance and patrol property to ensure safety and security
- Enforce University Health and departmental policies and regulations
- Complete work schedules and approve time off requests
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Five years of experience in a related field, such as security, detention, or loss prevention, is preferred. Three years in a supervisory capacity is also preferred.
