Pharmacist - Clinical Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Management Business Solutions. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in our pharmacy department, working closely with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure efficient inventory management, precise prescription filling, patient counseling, immunizations, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the management of pharmacy associates, including training and development, controlling expenses, and promoting a safe and clean working environment.
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to monitor weekly sales and inventory levels, and order pharmaceutical stock as needed to meet customer demand and maximize profits.
- Weigh, measure, mix drugs, and fill prescriptions accurately, and provide advice to self-medicating patients.
- Dispense non-prescription medications, maintain open communication with health and insurance professionals, and perform patient immunizations regularly.
- Schedule pharmacy associates effectively, recognize and reward performance, and implement necessary disciplinary actions.
- Assign work to optimize skills and abilities while meeting profit objectives, and assist the Pharmacy Manager in training and developing department personnel.
- Foster continuous improvement, reduce turnover, and control labor costs, and monitor and enhance department operations to control expenses.
- Ensure labor goals are met, reduce losses due to shrink, and address customer complaints and questions efficiently and courteously.
- Provide effective counseling on prescription-related issues, identify areas for improving customer service, and collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to make necessary improvements.
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in maintaining a safe and clean department, implement an effective housekeeping program to meet company, health department, and OSHA standards, and maintain appropriate department records and files.
- Submit required pharmacy reports documenting department activities, and collaborate with co-workers and superiors to ensure smooth department and store operations.
- Advanced knowledge of pharmacy department operations.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree required.
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification required.
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
- Medical and Prescription drug coverage.
- Vision and Dental.
