Compensation: Starting at $13/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of meals, snacks, and desserts for patients.
  • Deliver trays to patients in their rooms and dining areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by cleaning tables after meals.
  • Support the preparation of salads, desserts, and other dishes.
  • Serve beverages to patients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Prepare between-meal snacks and clean the work area post-shift.
  • Comply with infection control policies and maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Wash dishes, pots, and pans, and record temperatures of storage units.
  • Check and restock supplies as necessary.
  • Follow dietary orders and assist with menu substitutions.
  • Ensure proper storage of leftovers and opened food items.
  • Operate kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness of kitchen tools.
  • Promote a positive image of the organization through excellent service.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and inventory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires regular walking, standing, and the ability to lift and carry items as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
