Curana Health Mental Health Therapist Job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Psychologist, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to provide comprehensive mental health services to residents in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate residents' mental health, emotional well-being, and social functioning.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide individual therapy to address a range of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment disorders, and cognitive impairments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and thorough care for residents.
  • Respond to and manage emotional and psychological crises as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Psychologist, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a mental health role, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting.
