Position Overview

Thornblade Club, a prestigious private golf and country club nestled in scenic surroundings, is committed to delivering outstanding service to our members and guests. Our team consists of dedicated hospitality professionals who collaborate to create memorable experiences.

If you find joy in assisting others and ensuring they have a remarkable time, you will excel in our service-oriented environment. We prioritize employee development through training, empowerment, recognition, and career advancement opportunities.

Shifts are available on weekdays and weekends, with opening hours from 6 AM to 2 PM and closing hours from 1 PM to 9 PM (subject to seasonal changes).

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet all members and guests upon their arrival.
  • Coordinate with the golf shop for any specific instructions for the day.
  • Keep track of the daily tee sheet for any updates.
  • Maintain regular communication with the golf shop.
  • Assist players with inquiries or concerns.
  • Monitor and ensure players adhere to the pace of play.
  • Ensure practice range stations are well-stocked, clean, and organized.
  • Collect driving range balls and ensure they are properly cleaned.
  • Clean members' golf clubs at the start and end of their play.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors and professional staff.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with golf or country club operations is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate a gas and/or battery-powered golf cart while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Capability to lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in various outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.).
  • Ability to endure prolonged exposure to sunlight.
