Business Intelligence Engineering Manager, Worldwide Defect Elimination Concessions Analytics

We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Business Intelligence Engineer Manager to join our Worldwide Defect Elimination (WWDE)- Concessions Analytics team. This team is focused on the customer remediation experience, building technology to identify and personalize the concessions experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc.
- Partner with operations/business teams/economist/machine learning (ML) teams to consult, develop, and implement key performance indicators (KPI's), automated reporting/process solutions, and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs.
- Develop the end-to-end automation of pipelines for applications and ML models.
- Apply analytical skills to extract meaningful insights and learnings from large and complicated data sets.
- Serve as liaison with Business and technical teams to achieve project objectives, requiring data gathering, problem solving, modeling, and communication of insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience.
- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience.
- Experience with SQL, ETL, data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools, and R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab, or other statistical/machine learning software.
- Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience and 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT, and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures, and hands-on SQL coding experience.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position ranges from $129,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, and dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
