Amazon's Selling Partner Insights and Analytics (SPIA) organization is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) who will be a key contributor and sparring partner, developing analytics and insights for products that directly impact sellers experience on Amazon.

Key Responsibilities:

Interface with business partners to architect, design, implement, and support BI projects & tools that derive insights and shape important, worldwide business decisions.

Recognize and adopt best practices in analysis and reporting, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.

Support leadership team with deep-dives and insights that improve performance and productivity, serving customers better.

About the Team:

Selling Partner Insights and Analytics team mission is to build listening mechanisms to gather frictionless SP feedback, generate insights at scale, and enable teams to prioritize and measure improvement opportunities.

The team performs analyses, creates visualizations, and develops automated reporting solutions that help drive data-driven decision making.

Requirements:

Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, or equivalent quantitative field.

3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc. experience.

Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
