Favorite Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling sessions to unaccompanied children and youth residing in a 24-hour shelter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based practice interventions such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each child.
- Collaborate with shelter staff to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment for residents.
- Provide crisis management and support services as needed.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
- 2 years of clinical experience working with children or youth, with at least 1 year in a residential setting.
- Licensed in the relevant field of study or license eligible in the state of Michigan.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (highly preferred).
